Thanks for the great detailed write up. Yes I have in my possession one of the very few 22's in the country. I eventually settled on the standard tank, carby 300. They are all imported with 6 speeds and fan kit fitted. I contacted TM direct regarding the fuel requirements. I was told anything above 97 octane is fine. I am still in the running in process with only around 2.5 hours on it. It is definitely jetted very rich but don't really want to fiddle too much until run in is complete.

This was a giant leap of faith by me as we have no dealer in this state. However as I am the wrong side of sixty and have always wanted one of these bikes. If not now then when.

What gearing did it come with? Mate has one came with 14/48 and he is now at 12/48. Goes good.

A familiar story... a good mate of mine before I left Sydney was around 60 a decade ago and always wanted a TM. He ended up buying a new TM 450-4T that time.
