Accommodation
The ride offers 2 different types of accommodation. They are dorm style and camping. There are limited camping spots available, so get in quick if you don’t want to miss out. Bathrooms are shared, whether you are in the dorms or camping.
You are required to bring your own bedding (sheets, sleeping bags), pillow and toiletries. If camping you also need to bring your own tent, mattress, etc.
Food & Drinks
Most meals are provided – a light meal Friday night, hot breakfast both mornings, lunch both Saturday and Sunday and Dinner Saturday night. All meals are home cooked and delicious – you definitely won’t go hungry!
Water, Coffee, Tea and Juice will be provided along with fruit and biscuits. Any other snacks or nibblies you want will need to be brought with you. You will also need to provide your own alcohol and any other drinks you would like.
Rides
Rides are run on both Saturday morning and afternoon and Sunday morning. Our rides are run at a number of different skill levels – from plodders to advanced – so there’s something for everyone.
Skill Levels
Plodders – beginner riders, first year
Intermediate – can ride well and change tyres, take on more challenging terrain
Advanced – very fast and fit will be expected to handle everything thrown at them and laugh at it
Auction
The auction, which is held on the Saturday night, is always a fun and entertaining night. With many bargains up for grabs from our wonderful sponsors, it’s not to be missed!
Throughout the auction there will also be a number of spot prizes given away. For things like: furthest travelled, first entry, first girl entered first girl to pass a guy, hard luck, etc.
