hi guys,

Im relatively new to brissy from perth originally and am dying to go for a squirt. I havent been riding for about 3 months so expect me to be very slow out there. Never the less if there's any rides this weekend would you mind if I tag along?

I'm that desperate that I'm planning on going it alone, but for safety reasons would rather not.

i've got a 2007 Yz250 and my own transport pretty much anywhere worth while.

Hey Sambo, welcome to the forum... & Brizzy. I'm from Sunny Coast & most lead riders I know don't want un-rego'd bike in their groups.... just part of group rides mate. But there's heaps of riding parks & mx tracks around here. Try Manar Park, seems to be the most liked.

I'll have to check out this manar park. I noticed you've got cops here on DRZ's, this was a big shock coming from Perth :P

Yeah, sorry Sambo. Like Ant said, we ride in state forests, which require people to follow the road rules, including being regoed and licenced.

But welcome to the forum and QLD, and hope to see you out there in the future, once you succumb to the pressure and buy a rego bike! ^roost

sorry guys, we're not going to be able to make it now.

I got a call today (I was excited at first thinking it was a call to say come on in and pick up your fork...I was wrong) as some parts have been delayed and so my fork cannot be sorted in time...and I can't wheelie to save myself so no riding for me and so Bec and I will make some other plans and free up 2 spots in Sunday's ride.

you have a riding partner. a team of 2 riders, one does a lap, then the other dude does a lap. Like a relay. There's also different classes within each class. Ironman is solo.

Hi guys , been lurking for a while and want to know if there's anything organised for the 12/13 July ? I've got the kids every fortnight so this w/e is a no go.

Mostly ride beerwah, QMP , trail rides killarney etc and friends properties. Keen to tackle anything the fur Berger can take !
