Just thought I'd start one thread for our intermediate dirt rides for 2012, rather than clogging up the forum with multiple threads every week. So if you are keen on joining a Caterpillar Tracks style ride sometime, just subscribe to this thread and you'll get an update every time we plan a ride. Easy peasy!
Don't forget to check through to the last page on this thread, cos we will be adding rides all year, not just the first one!
So, we'll start it off with a ride this coming Saturday morning at Glasshouse (our favorite stomping ground).
Saturday 21st April
Meet: 8 am at Matthew Flinders rest area - Steve Irwin way, about 6 klms north of the Bruce Hwy off ramp (Northbound).
Riding about 8.30 till 1 pm or whenever we get tired and pike out.
Pace: Medium (we don't hammer, but it ain't a Snail Trails ride)
Terrain: Could be anything (including bogs, rocks, hills, overgrown trails), but we are not interested in destroying bikes or ego's (well, mosty)
It's all hands on deck to help eachother over obstacles, so no fear of being left behind in a tight spot.
Would probably be a good idea to cap each ride at about 10 bikes maximum, or it gets too slow and hard to keep the group together. So please let us know if you plan on turning up.
