Not much activity in this section but thought I'd post up a recommendation for tour company in Luang Prabang, Laos who do Motorbike tours to the remote part of the country close to the Chinese border.

Group of 6 of us flew into Luang Prabang to Jeremy and Charli, a couple of french lads who own/run the tour company. Our guide for the week who really made the tour was Kai, a local fella who is a great mechanic and even better cook.
Hire bikes were well maintained Honda CRF250L, nothing to flash but comfortable and new(ish)
The grade of the ride was beginner to intermediate with mostly dirt roads varying from freshly graded to loose rocky roads and sandy tracks.
There was a little bit of single track that tested a couple of the beginners but nothing too serious at all. Range was between 120km - 180km each day.
The towns we rode through were rarely visited by westerners and the locals were all excited to see us ride through.
I'd highly recommend the ride and also the tour company. From memory we paid US$1600 for the 5 day tour including lunch, accommodation, hire bikes, fuel, mechanic and backup dual-cab ute to carry our bags
