Project bike section

Quite a few peeps seem to be doing up old clunkers or building hybrid bikes. The threads can get a little lost in general dirt bike section. I think they should have there own section to really inspire people on.

Edit: further thought says that it should be a generic "showroom" section, possibly separated into full blown projects vs "look at my new bike" and "look at my new sticker kit" stuff.

I like this idea for a section. I often read the resto threads and love seeing the finished product mainly because Im to time poor to do it for myself.

If it is a project CR500 for example why can't it just go in the Honda section?

Because it will quickly disappear among the five hundred valve threads.

I rarely go into the marque specific forums - even the Husky forum only gets a quick look on my way to the WR150XC thread. I literally never look in the KTM or Suzuki forums (unless the newest post is in something with an interesting title) but there's dozens of potential Suzuki & KTM projects that I'd love to see.

Hey all,
Just picked up my 1991 Suzuki DS80 today, she's pretty rough, missing front headlight and shroud, plastics could use some work or replacement, runs alright but could definitely use a tune up, new grips, new this and new that but for an old bike what do ya expect. If anyone else has a DS let me know, keen to find out what you done to yours, cheers!
