I have DLC coatings and the is definitely an improvement. TiN or TiAlN coatings would no doubt be a big improvement over stock finishes imo.

I used KYB tubes that were already DLC coated as it worked out to be the better route to go as they could be easily adapted to my WP lugs. Apparently $400 each at that time.

Good thing I don't smoke, drink, or use hookers then I guess. And I've had a brain injury, so, you... there's that.
I still reckon the upgrade was worthwhile.
