  • Sneak peak of Wildwood Extreme new hills...

I was out brush cutting the track on the weekend and took a couple of sneaky pics of the first new down & uphills for the event on Sunday.

Best of luck riders, it is gunna be a good spectator event. If you see bike 543 out there, give me a push or a drink.

Are we even allowed to push/help the riders?

Yeah, you are not allowed to help, but some friendly encouragement will do.

I am not sure landing in that wild artichoke is a soft landing. I still have prickles in my hands from the 2010 race out there.

Wild artichoke, ok thanks , I didn't know what that big stabby stabby thistle was called.
Penetrated nearly an inch and I near passed out when I pulled it out again.

If the rocks don't get ya, the choke will. Haha.

I remember the choke.. feel your pain Keg! Rolled over a patch last year.

Wish I'd been wearing a pressure suit just for that!!

I'm thinking that this might be good enough spectating to take the day off and have a look

Does anyone have any tips on where to go and what to watch? Should I come prepared for lots of walking?

I see that racing starts at 11am. Is this everyone or are they sending them off in classes?
